Silber Turbos is happy to release our new line of snowmobile performance products labeled "Unit 6" This line of products is geared towards the riders looking for great performance without wanting to commit to a turbo kit. The first products we are bringing to market is our line of silencers. All silencers are constructed of polished stainless steel and carbon fiber and have a 96db sound rating. The silencers weigh in at 5 pounds or less depending on application and have that great sound everybody is looking for in an aftermarket silencer. These will have a retail price of $299 but as always I will have the better pricing for SW members that PM me :face-icon-small-win

From now until Halloween we will offer an ECU Reflash / Silencer combo for the 2011-2014 Pro RMKS. PM me for details.

Is that a bolt welded to the neck? I had some buddies who used to do that on stingers for twin pipes back in the day. It was a way to affect back pressure if I remember correctly.

Can you post any video of the sound?

thanks Corey!

Saw the post on the ECU flash from earlier this year. Forget my questionX3 on the sound.

now give me one of those behind my turbo and we would have something. (sorry turbo performance turbo on pro here), but i think a more quiet turbo two stroke could be a HUGE market.

something to think about

Yes I would definitely take one behind my turbo too. My ears would thank me later in life lol. Plus I kinda like stealth mode.

I could be wrong, but I'm assuming that bolt u see is actually a cap for an a/f gauge sensor port.

Yeah, a bung. Cool idea for us to tap into if needed.

I too would like a quieter turbo. I love mine and the sound is good, just a little loud. Especially on those induced wheelies!

I just checked and didn't see anything from either of you. Can you please resend and I will get back to you ASAP? I accidentally deleted all my PMS 2 days ago and am trying to remember everything I had going on and old age is catching up with me!

Sound Video

Corey, A sound video would probably help you sell more of the silencers. There are several other members that want to hear the sound who have written a thread and probably a bunch more who will just scroll down to see & hear :musicnote:the video.

sound

Here is about the only clip I have. This might have been a prototype can, but the outside looks the same. Slp pipe.
The video isn't the best, but it's very slightly louder than my MBRP trail can. Again, I don't know if its the same as the production can they are selling now.

Got PM! :face-icon-small-coo

I just put one on my pro... sounds great in the garage (ive heard much louder). Justin at Silber told me the welded piece on the neck is for an o2 sensor. Cant wait to hear it on snow!:loco:
