breaking in new pro, 65 miles and almost on empty already and I had the tank full with 91. is the gauge off, or do these things drink gas, or is it something to do with the break-in chip???
thanks
guys

I usually get around 60-70 miles to a tank with about 20 miles of trail and the rest mountain riding with lots of WOT and heavy load. IMO thats pretty good. You know it's a really good day when ya burn a whole tank in 40 miles lol

I'm usually out about 50 miles, if snow is set up 70-80 mile is not out the normal

I never even look at my gauge. I just wait for all the Doo guys to start saying they are low on gas, then I know I have around a 1/2 tank left :) Eric

After my first 90 miles of break-in, the gauge read close to researve I filled the tank with 9 gallons. I think the first 2.5 hours the sled dumps in more fuel - someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Most of the rides this year have been less than 50 miles.
Good snow.
Nearly on fumes a few times.

Usually the pro ride sleds i ride with use similar or more fuel.
Really depends on the amount of throttle strangling going on.

Last year on my pro I typically used the most fuel of everyone in our group. I'm pretty happy with the fuel usage of my axys.

I typically use about the same as my buddies T3 e-tech and a little less than my 14 pro RMK.

It seems like my Axys is a little thirstier with oil and gas compared to my 13 Pro. I am OK with that given how well
the sled works. I believe that the ECU keeps the oil pump turned up until you reach the 18 hour mark and I am not there yet. The bottom line for me is that it is a great sled (engine and chassis) and I expect that it will use a little more gas and oil because it is definitely making more power than the Pro. As discussed above, the powerband is impressive and the bottom end hit is very noticeable. It lifts the skis on the trail with decent traction. My Pro didn't do that.
