In case some have not noticed there is a new forum for cameras, video cams, and videos. It will be good to have it all in one place. So if you have photo/vid questions or suggestions post them up ! Cheers

No thanks, I personally will never look or post in there. I have my favorite forums to frequent and wont be going to any others. My $0.02. I dont see the point. I come to General to browse because I know what is typically in here....

Cool. It's a good idea in my opinion... we had questions about GoPros, contours and editing programs spread all over the entire site before.

Dont be a hater ! I know its tough for some to accept change ! Maybe you should put a big sticky up that says stop posting your camera/vid camera questions on SW and go to a site that can give you better specific info. They added a couple extra sub forums. Whats the big deal ? Live a little

just seems crazy for a site to try and cover every topic.

WHich is why I go to sled sites for sled info...camera sites for camera info.

Not hating just using the forum as it was intended...to express opinions. Sorry if mine is different than yours.



My point is still valid...would you go to a photography site and look for sledding info?

I agree somewhat, but unfortunately camera forums dont help very much in the way of providing good settings and suggestions for cam setups in regards to the conditions we operate in. Thats why i believe it belongs here. If you look at cam specific sites there is little in the way of eg: exposure in snow conditions, operating cams in snow, mounting cams to snowmobiles and on and on. I find it funny from a avid member/vid cam user who posts as much as you do, the refusal not to use or share info in the sub forums with his fellow Snowesters. Movie, films, pictures, cameras have been part of Snowest since it first started. The sledding community depends on films/movies in the off season and i believe it is a huge part of this forum. Almost every thread in Snowest has pictures or Youtube contained within. That my defence LOL
