new personal video of explorer kit "unreal" !!!

How big of a stump would that spindle take? Hate to have to ride that out without a ski.

Isn't this being done by another Snowester?

I'm sure if your into the whole MX thing, this would be pretty cool.

Saw something similar in West Yellowstone, didn't last long once they took them onto the track. Between those and the snohawk its like snowmobiling evolving backwards. Why would ya.

actually its kinda neat...limited for use but fun for some places..sure beats leaving the bike in the garage if you don;t own a sled..

Maybe because a new Snowhawk is $20k, yes $20k for 2009.

Who is going backwards?

They just signed their death warrant with that kind of pricing

I'd rather have that for our spring riding than a sled, and it makes much more sense than the Snow Hawk. That would add the fun factor that I usually miss in the spring time.

ride on!

yes spring is a good time to ride, and with this kit no overheating
we have tested it on 250's and 450's works great, the track length is 105 and is able to adjust according to rider weight and snow conditions.
and for the guy who thinks its lame, please tell me what is not lame, i would love to try anything once!!
thanks for the positive responce guys and hope the guys that have bikes already are peeking in on us once in awhile.
also snowboarding is no typo,,, and snowhawk or snowbikes, 2moto or explorer kits are the new age comming, there was a day when people just used 2 ski's ,now we have snowboards that can do more tricks and just rock in the snow!

i am just so glad there are toys for everyone in this great day and age!
snowbikes nor snowhawks were never to replace snowmobiles, just play along side them by no means do i hate sleds or think one is better than other, we all have this big playground to play on if your happy with your sled, stick with it. if your the guy who likes ,change, new learning curves, aggressive ride style,or just wants to be noticed, one ski might be the way for you.

thanks

There will always be nay sayers. Thats there loss. I like sleds, but have always thought that there might be something more suited to my style. I found it in a 1ski. As Im an avid dirt bike rider it was only natural. You will be seeing alot more of these machines in the near future. They are totally capable. Some guys wont get it til they have one smoke there sled. whether its a 2moto or explorer they are a coming. The question is are You ready!

can you please break out your personal film of you in a field the same size, and show us what isnt lame? thanks

if you read my post you will notice that I wrote the thing LOOKS lame. you asked for our opinion and that is mine.
if those things are sooo much fun in the powder as you guys claim, let us see it!
I have watched several videos of these single ski snow machines, and have yet to be impressed.
and by the way, the comparison of skis vs. a snowboard is way off. snowboards have more surface area on the snow than skis which gives you more FLOATAION. your machine offers LESS flotation than a sled.

so basically, its a sled with one ski, a tiny gas tank, and half a track, with the same size engine. sounds like a street bike with bicycle tires to me.

with that said, I would be happy to be proven wrong, and might even buy one if so.:)

"there was a day when people just used 2 ski's ,now we have snowboards that can do more tricks and just rock in the snow! "

I beg to differ on that one.

and besides like was said later it'll never take skiing out but is another way to get out and play.

the video, just riding in circles in a open field wasn't to intising.. now if there was a track, with burms, jumps some climbs maybe.. might look alot funner..

still a pretty cool extra to put on your bike.. just didn't look fun at all.

I dont want to stomp on The explorer thread, but since your in Vancouver. why dont you come on up to the Big Dawg Shootout next weekend and take a ride on a 2moto.
Ill be happy to race your sled against my street bike with bicycle tires.
loser buys the beer!!

you're on!
did I mention my sled has 310hp?:D
I would like to try your machine though. and thanks for the offer.
