New paint on helmet

This is just a paint sample that I made to test the paint for my helmet. I hope to have it all done tonight. Ill post pix with the final result.

you need to dry your helmet before you paint it.

Got the first helmet out of the way!

I know it isn't the best, but it is the first paint job i've ever done. I will get some pictures when the sun comes out.

It looks good. It looks like water drops on it, on purpose I assume?

Yep....thats the look. Thanks man. I sprinkled some water on it and everything came together. cant wait to see it on the mountain in the sun with snow on it.

Definitely a sweet painting technique . Do you need a helmet to practice on?

I hope someday I will paint other peoples helmets. For now I am just trying to figure this whole thing out. I have another helmet of mine that I want to paint. I have a buddy that is going to lend me and airbrush so I can do some other designs.
Once I do more of this design, I will sand down this helmet and start over. I will use it this season for now. Thanks for the props. I will post more pics when they become avail. Later.......

airbrushing has always been fun. I just wish I had time/space to have another hobby. Nice work!
