Hi, I bought my first snowmobile, a Polaris 1997 Indy 700XC this summer.
My only snowmobile experience is a 100 mile trip on Spitzbergen 10 years ago, so I have a lot to learn. I think maybe this forum will be of some help

Here in Norway, snowmobiles are more or less outlawed, so we have to go to Sweden for the driving, luckily only 60 miles away from my place.
This is How the polaris looked when I got it.
Have done a few things to it. New: Seat cover, brakes, 14 bearings in drivetrain, battery, ball-joints in steering, rubber intakes, reed valves, spark plugs...
Now I'm just waiting for some SNOW!
