New/newer M-series Skid

Couple of questions:

1.) will '08-'09 153" rails work with an '05 141" skid without major modification

2.) would a complete 2010 float skid work in an '05 141" M6 chassis without major modification (excluding tunnel extension)

And for each option what would need to be done minus the tunnel extension?

Thanks in advance

answer to 1 is there are lots of modifications unless you use a float suspension.
#2 yes
I have a set of 05 153 rails with AMP brackets on them. I will sell for $100 shipped in lower 48.

I did this with a '06 rear skid. Originally a 153" I put some 141" '09 rails on my little brothers sled. Torsion springs and Zero Pro's.
I took ctc measurements and think everything is ok, mounted well, rides well, no noticeable issues.
But I do wonder if I should have a longer front arm and longer shock in the front now? As I'm lead to believe they are different. Or will I have to do this if I Float the skid in the future? I'll find some pics and post them.

I know the Float conversion comes with a new front arm, does this mean I'd have to swap a front shock as well? If so, then did I screw up some sort of geometry/measurements when putting this one together?
