Mustang Trailer Finished. Turned out awesome

A while ago I posted about my dream trailer. I opted out of a couple of the items like stereo and benches and what not on this build. I find when we go riding that we get there, unload, dress and ride. After riding we change, load up and go home. We dont' spend a whole lot of time in the trailer. On this trailer I went with a 26' on the flat with a 7' vnose. I went with rumber flooring, .050 gauge aluminum on outer and inner skin. in the flooring I went with electric in floor heating. As you can see in the pictuers I went with a drop ceiling to run 5 different lines for heater vents, also have 8 pot lights as well as 12 led lights in the ceiling. I went with 20" tires that should look pretty good. I'll try and post more info and pics as we finish it up. The vnose will house the generator on the bottom shelf, and the batteries and all electronics on middle shelf. Upper shelf will be for storage.

updates on finished trailer

Sorry, forgot to update. Finally got the trailer done. Turned out absolutley gorgeous. Fit and finish is awesome. In floor heat does indeed work. I am just finalizing sealing up all the seams and what not before maiden voyage. I ordered the same ramp door handles that triton puts on there trailers. Stainless with the lock incorporated into the handles makes them well worth the money. The final length is 26' on the box with a 7' v nose. reason for longer vnose is we made the front ramp door 6' instead of traditional 5'. I had pot lights installed in the ceiling as it probably has never been done before. All the ducting for the heater(5 controlled outlets) are run through the drop ceiling as well as 12 led lights. Lots and lots of lighting in this trailer. ceiling height is 6'6", wanted to go with a 7' ceiling but opted for the lower ceiling with the length of this trailer. I had a 42" walk in door installed as well instead of normal 32"-36" door. The rumber flooring made the ramp doors a fair bit heavier then regular ramp doors. Nothing really could be done about this as I wanted the product in the trailer. If you guys have any questions, let me know.

Most guys ask why I didnt' do the same colors as my old Nash trailer. I think the white with all the stainless accents turned out absolutly gorgeous. There might be a chance that I might sell the trailer. Looking to build a new shop for my business. I would look at possible trades and cash(Cash being the bigger portion) deals. Trailer was 40,000.00 to build.

I have owned several enclosed trailers and every one of them had crap go wrong that drove me nuts. I had a chance to go over and watch every detail of this trailer being built. Structually this thing should be bomb proof. Kevin at Mustang is one of the best out there. He was the master mind behind most of the very detailed and awesome finish on this setup.

That is an incredible trailer. A desk and a phone jack and it could be your new shop/office.

Question - Loading

Are you loading from the back to the front or from the front to the rear?

You have a sharper angle for your V, (mine is a 5' on 90") and it's kind of sharp making the corner for the inside sled.

I have a 24' box with the 5' V and it's 7'6". I'be been loading from the front and just drive uut the rear.

You must have 5000# axles?

v looks sharper then what it is. also with the 7' vnose it makes it look sharper then what it is. I load from the front to the back. works awesome

This is by far the nicest trailer I have ever seen. I have gone thru 3 different brands of trailers building custom trailers and trying different things and unfortunately always find something that is so annoying I can stand it. I am incredibly picky and consumer trailers are simply not finished worth a S*it. Screws put in at different angles, cabinets mounted funny, etc. Your trailer is unbelievable and if I could afford that caliber of trailer I would be all over it. Thanks for sharing with us.

appreciate the comps. It was alot of fun to be part of building and putting my ideas into this trailer. Had lots of people say in floor heat wouldn't work. Is it ever nice to have a warm floor.lol I know this trailer is built to perfection. I saw every part, every weld and personally installed half the crap or watched it being installed. i know there werent' any short cuts on this trailer.

Nice work, you better watch out for the wind down there I heard it can get a little nasty and blow over them tricked out trailers.:heh:
