Ok i'm putting together a new motor for a m/1000 turbo i have heard of cutting the cylinders down for added performance is this correct? And do you know how much and where (bottom) Any thing else for a turbo motor? Thanks Should the cylinders be a bit looser(piston to cylinder?) ring end gap? Lets hear it

Take 20 t0 25 thousand of cly deck rework the head . You will have add more weight to your primary. This cleans up the m1000 in the bottom end

ok deck is easy enough what has to happen with the head? what comp do i need to end up with. What rpm does a turbo m/1000 like the best 4500/7000 elevation 8/10 pounds of boost

you have to grove the head for the piston extrusion. I'm pretty sure twisted will do it all for $200. It changes the port timing which is huge factor on boost.

I highly recommend you talk to some of the turbo vendors. It is key that you setup the port timing for the turbo but the ones I know all do it a little differently. Shain at Twisted does them quickly if you want to send them to him

You couid keep comp stock .If you run it on race gas this is the best or 11.8 ish head comp av gas 8 t0 10 lbs note avs gas is harder to tune ! Stock pipe 74 ish rpm . I run a d&d turbo pipe at 78 ish

Larry, call Shain at Twisted turbo. Shain did all of the mods you are talking about to my sled. It runs great. He will have all of your answers.
