New LED tail light for VMI racks

I was just talking to Bob at Vortech, he e-mailed me these pictures of a LED set-up they are coming out with. He is buying LED's from Brite-Lites, then making a mount that ataches to back crossbar on his rack. This looks like a great option for us guy's that like to remove the stock tail light. Thanks for the info. I emailed Bob and asked him about the light setup. I also asked him if those of us with a 154" could use the 163" rack since the tail light will be removed. He said that he'll take some measurements and get back to me. I'll let you know what I find.

FYI,

I got an email back from Bob yesterday. If you have a 154" it is possible to use the 163" rack. However, there are some rivets at the rear of the tunnel that you will either have to remove and re-rivet through the rack or just mount the rack over the rivets.

Just bought a Vortech rack and tail light from Bob this afternoon - great guy and great product.
