I got an aftermarket hood this year and finally got it installed. I pulled the factory wiring harness and purchased a stock tach to put in. So I plugged in the tach, jumped my light off the yellow/brown wires.
So when the light is off the tach doesn't work. Light on tach works. No REV light coming on, PREM light works. No back light on the tach. I am not sure if the TEMP light works, hope so. So what's the deal, I was scratching my head last night because the wiring harness is idiot proof, well almost
