Well I'm not smart enough to kno if that bike in the pic is a 250 or an old 500 in a new chassis or what, but th other half of the article says it's going to be a 550 and the words leaked and released are there.
I usually save my pennies and buy things frugally, but this could make me go waste $10k on a dirt bike!

If you look at their latest patent for a 2stroke engine, it's made for a industrial generator. Not a dirt bike. Honda also hasn't released any statements about a 550 coming out. It's all rumors.

Photoshop, doesn't have a silencer on it and the pipe looks like a 250.

On top of that, why produce a bike that wouldn't sell? There simply is not enough demand for any manufacture to produce a 500cc two stroke.

If it were a 65 hp carb version they wouldn't sell too many. If honda really could build a sub 200 lb 90 hp fuel injected bike for 10 g's?? I actually think the line would be out the door. But they can't and they won't. Unfortunately for all of us.
