New for 2012?!

Spindles are same part numbers so I'm not sure??. And yes the running boards spikes have a extra row in the 12's.

A arms and spindles

Hey,
Comparing my 12' Assault to last years, i can see some changes in geometry on the a arms, looks like they lined up the ball joints, moved the upper forward a hair... and reinforced the ball joint. As for the spindles themselves, I beleive last years were cast, and this year they are machined, I know my dealer told me they are supposed to steer 50% easier... I havent had any snow to prove one way or the other though...

Polaris web site shows spindles are the same part number as last year. The upper A arm part number is unique to this years Assault (maybe color). Lower A arm is same arm as last years Rush.

IQ reference

So this dude says 2012 spindles are lighter and make steering easier?! Any truth to that? http://www.polarisindustries.com/en...11-B516-0050569A00BB&WT.mc_ev=email&WT.mc_id=

And he says the outer running board strip has better traction; looks exactly like my '11 and those traction strips tear the hell outta my boots and pants!

Have FUN!

Gee...

Marty is said "Very similar geometry to previous RMK's"

The A-arms are the same as the 2009/10 RMK's

He is talking about the IQ "previous RMK" ... and that the spindle is different from the IQ-RMK to the PRO-RMK.

Hope this helps.
