New Fly Dan Adams NXT LVL bars

I have had many questions regarding the new Fly NXT LVL low bars about availability. These will be available end of the month through fly and WPS and your local dealer.

info on bars:

-5 3/4" height
-8 degree pullback
-narrower mounting point
-wider control area due to narrower mounting point which translates to more room to move controls allowing for proper handgaurd installation.
-2014 aluminum
-black finish
-finished off with a nice fabric style bar pad that wont fade or crack with weather.

The biggest improvements you can make are where you contact your snowmobile! Light weight and big power are only as good as you can comfortably control. I wasnt given a specific day these will be available but was told the shipments will show up next week. And as always, any questions or concerns you can PM me for further info, thanks!

Nice bars... but whos the goofy potato farmer in the wanna be racer hat LOL??

Seriously... looks good... Dan should be proud he got EXACTLY the bar he wanted made for backcountry riding.

I like the fact that the handgrip part of the bar is longer to be able to mount items more easily....
Without making the actual bars any wider.

This would allow you to make the bars more narrow than the stockers and still mount everything easily... plus they are are hair shorter than stock.

The black ano is a nice touch compared to the stock silver bars as well.

Thanks for the information, been waiting for these for awhile.

Shorter than stock

More length in the grip area without making the bars wider.
Done by narrowing the center part where the cross bar is.

Black (compared to stock silver)

Less pull-back

IPH... would be helpful to our readers, and FLY, if you could post a photo of the stock bars and NLC bars, without pads mounted, from a front and top view right next to each other.

I would have lots more pictures if i had a set of these bars... Thing is even we dont have the bars yet this year. We had two sets that were made for us last year and were sold with two of our built sleds this last spring. 'Philsummers' on here bought one of Dans Pro's last spring with the new bars and i believe in another thread a few months back he posted some pics of the NLC bars next to stock bars. maybe he could chime in with some pics.... I dont think we will see the bars show up here in alpine till after thanksgiving.

IPH did you guys run them as delivered or cut back the width? I would really like to run a little narrower, wondered what you guys liked.

Thanks in advance....

Shorter than stock HOW MUCH?

And....HOW MUCH $$??
:)

I have been calling and emailing around and everyone is saying that they are now delayed to mid december.
Any truth to this and why is it so difficult to get them made and in stock?

Price is set at $54.95

I will get some more information tonight and report back tomorrow about availability being pushed back till mid december..... I havnt heard of this but will find out tonight.

while I'm not involved with these bars i did work at WPS/FLY Racing in the warehouse/receiving department for several years. As I'm sure everyone realizes these bars are made overseas, resulting is lead times of approx 3-4 months (seemed to vary by vendor and time of year. Then you through in the seasonality (no one wants to sit on a huge inventory for longer than necessary) and it is a balance of meeting projected needs/managing inventory and cash flow. Bars are a pretty small volume item as well, so to fill a 40' shipping container of them exclusively is unfeasible. So now they have to package them with other products from that vendor or surrounding vendors and they may be on varying production cycles. In rare cases they would air freight boxes of parts in but that is cost prohibitive.

like everything else in life it all comes down to money. getting them manufactured is easy. getting them in stock it easy. getting them at a low cost is easy. pick two.

I sure like the way these bars handle the garage boondockin. Cant wait to get them on the snow. Being a taller guy 6'1" i may have to get a small riser but not sure yet. Want to actually ride it first

I found a set of RSI Burandt bars in stock and ordered them. If I do not like I can sell them and start over.

i talked with Dan last night about the bar issue. He said he hasnt heard anything about the order being delayed. Bars should be available by next week.
