I doubt it makes much heat. there is a serious ack of friction there......good thinking.

Its not the heat from friction but from combustion, depending on its efficiency, combustion heat that isn't converted into rotational energy has to be gotten rid of just like our current engines. Our 2-strokes produce their heat from combustion and very little from friction. Only time you have big friction is when you stick a piston and have metal to metal contact.

he is claiming the equivalant to 850ci not HP. he didn't state HP from what i saw. did i not read it close enough?

towards the bottom of the first article it did state that it put out 850 hp.

That is really cool!! I would be more interested in little tiny motors. Think about a motor that would fit into a little go cart or scooter! Or on a motorcycle or mountain bike for that matter.
