New charmac GN snowmobile trailer.

Has anyone out there got to pull these trailers last year or this year? I took one to try out today and I am not very impressed. GN's are supposed to pull smooth and nice, but this one every time you hit just a little bump it would jerk several times, even on the tiniest bumps. I'm not sure exactly what is causing it. Maybe it is the type of axel that is under it. Or the placement of the axels. Or does it need to have some weight in it to stop it from doing that. I'm not going to always have it loaded when I pull it so this would be very annoying if it does it all the time. I have pulled gooseneck horse trailers all the time and the only time you feel them jerk is if the animals are moving around in there or you hit a big pot hole.

Anyone else experience this?

I know when I tow our fifth wheel camp trailer, it can really become annoying from the bouncing over the seams in the road. I installed air bags that helped some but didn't completely fix the problem. It only happens occasionally on certain roads and I guess I've just gotten used to it.

Aren't all goosenecks kind of crappy to haul? Seems like that vertical neck is a guaranteed way to have a trailer bounce your head forward, backward, forward, backward...
