New boot time

Klim Adrenalins for me also i have gotten 5 seasons out of a pair the sole is almost gone and they still dont leak yet, i have a new pair of regulars ill were this year haven't switched to the BOA, ON a note i tired to motorfist stomper 2.0 and they are not for people with manly football player calves i couldn't lace them up they went to high right were my legs get big so that sucked they felt really nice to walk in but just not physically possible to were them for me :( so Klim boots for me.

Klim adrenaline for 1.5 yrs and feet were soaked.
Very comfortable boots but i hate wet feet.
Emailed Klim, told them they were almost 2yrs old and i would like to pay to have them repaired since warranty is for only one year.
They said to mail them in and they will inspect them.
After inspection they email me that they determined the boots have more than one year of wear on the soles and they will not be covered by warranty.
Also, they do not repair boots so, i have to pay $~20 for shipping to repair boots that they do not repair!!!!!!!!
Not happy.

Motorfist stompers (original) for over 2years, still dry and soles are in pretty good shape. Bought the Motorfist Alpha Boa this year because i don't want to tie laces and they were on sale.

i have heard stories like that it with other companies also. it is frustrating to say the least .i did find that a lot of wet foot issues were due to sock choice . causing sweaty feet.

Yes i cant believe how many people were cheap cotton socks good point...Also boots are a were item...some people are very hard on them some are not, i am a bigger guy so i dont have to switch back and forth a lot so my feet stay in the same spot a lot so i am pretty easy on boots. And these new boards like on my pro nobody is easy on boots now.

For What Its Worth.

I have 4 pair of KLIM Adrenaline boots on my shelf right now.
None of them have ever leaked in the last 7 seasons of riding.

But..
We rode these boots on the SKINZ Air Frame boards with their TRACTION SCREWS. While in my humble opinion these are the absolute best boards made for sledding and have the HIGHEST possible traction on them, they DESTROY BOOT SOLES. After about 2-3 good seasons the sole of your boot is UTTERLY TRASHED!

So I end up buying a new pair of boots every 3 years or so.
Last night I ordered a new set of the BOAs.
Really looking forward to NOT lacing my boots this year!!

I have the KLIM BOA and like them for the most part but the adjuster knob for the upper always pops loose. Any one else have this problem?

I have a pair of them with about 100 days of riding on them. Ive never had the adjuster pop loose. I can even snug them up a few clicks during the day without having to raise my pants, just adjust through the fabric. Awesome pair of boots. Eric

when i got my Adrenalins i got the klim socks with them and rarely got cold or wet feet , i do have to use heavier boots when i ice fish though . adrenalins are not heavy enough for me to stand around in the snow , not a problem when riding they are just right :face-icon-small-hap

Well if there is one pair of faulty boots out there I would be the one to get them.

If one of the dials is popping out even when not hooking it on something, contact boa directly. They are great on sending parts to fix broken or defective boa parts. Or at least have the experience to help you troubleshoot the issue.

I had the lace adrenalines for a couple years and loved them but i hate laces, especially on winter boots, so i changed over to adrenaline boa last year. Worked great on snowbike and sled. Never popped out once. Like all boa boots, you'll likely give them one more tightening during the day. The speed of putting them on with ice cold hands is great, but even better is popping them off at the end of the day without unknotting frozen laces with frozen hands at -10.

I have boa on my sled boots, winter boots, and now my fly fishing boots. Love the system. The double dial implementation on the klim boots is better than the single dial on my other boots.

SOOOO looking forward to that.
Picking up my new boots TODAY!:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap

Another huge advantage to the boa (especially for me and my chicken legs) is that you can get them tighter than laces and they stay that exact way until you take them off.

Vote for klim adrenaline...my feet never get cold, fairly comfortable, soles last probably as long as can be expected.
