New black/orange primary spring?

I'd be interested to hear the spring rates as well. Thanks for bringing this up.

Also, on the topic of springs, is the orange Arctic Cat secondary spring the only game in town?

Which springs in particular would you like to try? Do you have the spring rates?

I have always been a heavy spring guy. I like to use the strongest primary springs I can so I can throw as much clutch weight to load the motor until it says uncle.

On the secondary, I like a strong spring for rapid backshifts and it's one more way I can keep the secondary open a little longer so I can reach my target shift speed while throwing just a little more load on the engine.

personally I think the orange is far to stiff on the top and won't allow proper shifting on a technical climb, backshift is great, just can't seem to get a upshift when the power is there.

Yeah...that's a problem, but the bottom end needs the heavy for backshift, and nobody makes that spring. The goodwin dark blue has the lowest spring rate I've found (70 lbs per inch), and the orange is right there with it. Everything else is much higher, so they start softer and end with way too much force...
