New Beacon Training Park, Fairview, UT

I just found out that there will be a BCA beacon training park installed by the new parking lot at the top of Fairview. I'm not sure when the training park will be setup and installed (we need snow first), but I'm sure the avalanche center will need some help setting it up. I'll post any additional info when I have it and hopefully we can get some peeps to come help set it up.

This will be a great place to have the training park and will hopefully raise avalanche awareness for the area. Fairview has had more than it's share of avalanche fatalities / near fatalities.

The New Beacon Training park was installed yesterday at new parking lot at the top of Fairview. We helped the forest service set it all up and except for a few small items, it is up and running and ready for you to practice your beacon skillz!

If you do use it between now and the next storm, please be a little careful as the wires are not very deep below the snow.
