The price for the new Float 30 airbag is $699.99

We also still have several of the Float 30's from last year remaining if you are interested. They are $499.99, but once they are gone, then there will be no more airbags at that price.

You can check them out at: http://www.snowbigdeal.com/servlet/the-Avalanche-Airbags-cln-BCA/Categories

PM me with any questions. We will have both packs at HayDays.

The website shows last year model as hydration compatable...is this true?

Well, it's kind of true. According to BCA is was "compatible", but not without some modifications. I think that statement is kind of misleading, I will remove it from our site.

This year's model has a zippered shoulder strap, inside it you can fit the hose to the hydration pack. It's definitely a nicer setup for hydration.

I got the pack! Great service and fast shipping, I'll buy again from snowbigdeal.

The pack is very well built, high quality and has a very nice fit and finish. I haven't test fired it yet, I plan on doing that this weekend.

Thanks again Cade!

$200 more for waterproof zippers and hydration compatibility?? What happened to affordable?

Just when I was thinking my life was worth $500
:hurt:

man I agree with Joel 100% I was going to buy one until they raised the price....now you may as well as purchase the tried and true airbags that retail for about $900 that have a bigger airbag-after all its the amount of air in the bag~vs~your body weight that keeps you on top of the snow!!!! BIGGER BAG EQUALS MORE CHANCE OF STAYING ON TOP, in my mind the extra $200 is well worth it, plus they have much more bag sizing options also!

Got any pics of the inside of the pack? Where are they putting the hydration bladder?

Click the pic on my last post, it'll open up a slideshow. It looks like the bladder floats in the main compartment.

I opted for the newer bag, there should be updates that aren't covered in the marketing material. Could be an extra stitch here or there, different materials in places(all assumptions here), etc. Not having an original version to compare to I'm happy to have this new bag.

Does BCA have any plans to make a smaller pack in the future? 30L is bigger than I need.

what is the weight limit of the rider for this air bag ,and is their a room for shovel in this backpack?
