For those lingering during the summer months here are some new products that will be available this fall for the AXY's. All bumpers will fit ANY Axys sled.

Next Level Dan Adams Front Bumper

Skinz "Pro" Front Bumper

Skinz Standard Front Bumper

Headlight Delete

Adjustable Brake Lever - Heated or Non Heated.

Dan Adams Next Level Windshield/Bag

To clarify.
First you cant fault skinz for moving to a bumper fabricated from flat sheet. The cost savings are substantial over the complexity of mass producing tube built products. Especially to produce a custom look. This probably means the aluminum is 5052 instead of 6061. Guessing off of the bend radius.
I think skinz makes products that work great.
A majority of the general public may see the weld quality as good.
However the price point that they seem to command with ease seems like the QC could be a little tighter in the looks department.

I for one would even consider buying instead of building my own if the looks were up to standard.

If i made welds like that I couldn't sell the product.

Just my opinion, not bashing on skinz. (Ok maybe a little:) ) but not hating.

I have little to no metal fab experience and even i cringed at the welds. I actually like the styling I think it will look good on the lines of the axys. Look forward to seeing it at snow show in dnver.

Will there be any more colors available in any of the bumpers? Specifically the "standard"?

They will be available in Flat Black or Polished Aluminum. If you want a color I can order it for you but there is a custom color charge AND you need to order EARLY.

Skinz didn't go this route for cost savings, they did it for styling and I love it. Was a huge fan when they released the XM front bumper which is similarly styled.

Is the ultra q can same as the 15 pro still? Someone at skinz told me the can will be the same but that was 2 months ago

No, it is a completely different part number. UQ2216

Polaris has some nice looking color coordinated front and rear bumpers for the Axys on their website. That is what I will be getting if I decide upgrade.

I am sure Skins will keep up the Ti bars, but I do like that you have 3 choices of bars from the factory

Any more info or pics with regard to those new brake levers????

These are the Ski Doo levers which are similar, no other pictures of the Polaris lever.

How about pics of axys lightweight seat? Weight savings on parts? Heard there was titanium bars too.

Yes Ti bars are available in:
Polaris Tall - 311.5 grams - Width – 28” / Rise 6.5” / Sweep 12 degrees
Polaris Short - 276 grams - Width 28” / Rise 4.5” / Sweep 12 degrees
Flat Bar - 260.5 grams - Width 28.5” / Rise none / Sweep 12 degrees
2" Rise Bar - 260.5 grams - Width 28.5” / Rise 2” / Sweep 8 degrees
Ski Doo XM - Tony Jenkins Bend - 261.5 grams - Width 28.5 / Rise 1” /Sweep 8 degrees / Hook 15 degree bend
Rasmussen Bend - Flat 18 degree
Cole Willford 2FIVE2 Bend

Seat hasn't been prototyped yet since production models have not showen up yet.

Definitely a nice option.

From when i was into sport atvs. Aluminum skid plates were ok.... If super thick but still took a hit and stayed bent. Had an aluminum skin on a banshee, big dents, bent a side into the brake and had to pry it down. Had a plastic one on my predator, some scuffs but always kept its shape and no bent rotors or rings.

Also an aluminum ring guard on a pedal bike is known as "light duty" dh bikes have plastic to bash rocks and not worry about bends.
