New avalanche air bag design

I am in the process of designing a new avalanche air bag pack. The prototype should be finished and go into testing this riding season. I am in hopes that my pack will be much more affordable than others on the market. Preliminary pack cost should be from the $400 - $600 range maybe even lower. I will be posting updates of the progress and hopefully some HD video with actual avalanche testing video. It will have a tank design that you the owner will be able to refill. No ordering replacement tanks or parts to re arm.

Thats great, I hope it all works good for you. If you get it working I will be in the market for 3-4 of them.

Buying an airbag backpack is a smart thing to do for mtn. sledders, but it is expensive endeavor for a chance at ending up in an avy. I only go west 2 times a year but wouldn't mind the extra insurance.
