Came across an article from May 2019 on snowmobile.com that contained a link to a patent submission from Arctic Cat on a possible new snow vehicle or snow bike design. Here is a direct link to the patent application publication.

Looks like it could be using the new 400cc 2 stroke that they released in the new mid-size BLAST series sleds as well as a CVT. Anyway I figured I would share it.

That is pretty cool. Although a 400cc is a little small, with cvt, it’s a step in the right direction

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a 450 dirtbike is around 55hp? They are claiming 65 with this new 400... and I'm sure all the aftermarket performance companies will have a hayday with this motor.

Very interesting.........but it reminded me the SnowHawks I had 10 years ago. Given the correct conditions the SnowHawks were great, powder, side hilling, boondocking they were hard to beat. However riding on a trail was a miserable experience.

During this patent application they also had this machine with either single ski or twin skis.
Optional bolt on front ends... pretty cool direction cat has taken.

With or without turbo....
One or 2 cylinder.....
And many more variables...

I don't have the link but I did read a lot of it.

Sent it
