New 509 helmets?

I just purchased a new 509 helmet because the Klim helmet I had was too big for my head. I have not been on a trip with it yet and I was wondering if the old Sinister goggles work as well with the helmet as they say the new Sinister X5 are supposed to. Thanks for any info.

Can't say with the new helmets and the sinister5's, but been using the first sinisters with a 509 helmet the last few years, and they mesh very well!

I've found the regular sinisters work better than most goggles, with any helmet... They just seem to fill "most" voids that other goggles left open holes. I don't think the 5's have a huge design change, but it's possible.

Just a heads up, the klim helmet is adjustable in size based on the cheek inserts you have inside it in most cases.
