Yo Cat site, I don't know if any of you have seen my posts regarding my lovely Assult. Just got approval today from Sheffield Financial for new HCR. Thank You Sheffield I am out of cash and was about to quit the sport after 30+ years of riding. I normally have cash to buy sleds but I have a POS assult that I have $11000 cash into that is in the shop as of today. It has been in the shop approx 10 weeks since I have had it, 70 days! Either waiting for backordered parts or when the dicky boys have time to fix it. I also want to thank my friends at Rt. 12 Cat in Illinois for taking care of me. They are going to bring me out a new Cat. I appriciate this more than you can imagine. I had a kid just yesterday I could of pawned off this sled to, he had cash in his hands $7000. Deal was final, all I had to do was deliver it. I could not lie to him like Polaris has lied to me, so I back out. Have to let the courts deal with it and this could take years.

Thanks again

nice

Welcome to the green side man. I love my o9 hcr, and will stick with cat for many years. Sorry to hear about your assault man, thats a bummer. Hopefully polaris will figure out there 800 sometime in the future. I understand the sled makers to come out with the lightest and most powerful sled they can, but the reliability shouldn't be compromised as much as it has over the years. I'v seen pics of a 800 with the updates, and it dosen't look after low miles were put on it, ahhh. good luck. Its cool you didn't sell your sled and pawn the problem off tom someone else. Its good to know theres good people left in this world. tim

Route 12 are good people, right over in Arlington Heights, IL.....Did you deal with Bruce?

So I am guessing you would dream of telling me to buy a 2010 Assault? I have been teetering between the Assault and the M8HCR or M8 SP. I have a thread Assault vs. M8 HCR, lots of good advice. Seems everything points to AC.

Have fun on the HCR, seems like a good change to me. BTW, I know it's not sled related, but if there's one thing I enjoy as much as sledding it's football, and Phatty that's a great icon. Go UTES!!!
