I was in the process of pulling the track out of my brand new '15 Pro and found a couple of things that looked suspect.

First , after I pulled the secondary clutch, I found this thin rectangular piece of foam.

Any ideas where it goes?

Second, I spotted this electrical connector that looks like it is just crammed in between the air box and fuel tank.

Is this how it should be?

I think the electrical connector is for your tail light. Just the way it's routed if I remember correctly.

Yes the foam is from the overstructure and the connector is where it should be like above stated. I also thought the connector was in a weird location but thats where it goes. Its wedged so tight it leaves an imprint on your airbox.

The foam appears to be more in line with what is under the fuel tank in a few places. Sooner or later one or two will vibrate out.:face-icon-small-coo

Thanks guys. This one is zero miles so no vibrating out yet. The top pic is where it was sitting when I found it. Maybe dropped during assembly.

Anything else I should look over while it's torn apart. As far as wire routing or any issues like that?

I'll have the hood off, pipe off to install bumper and skid plate. Also installing a Blow Hole with a switch and a 12 volt fused accessory plug direct to the battery.

Funny you mention this, just the other night I found a piece just like your describing lying loose under my secondary.

Love my Pro, but honeslty the fit and finish on these is ...................in need of :help:

Foam definitely does not look like the foam that I have on the overstructure for my '12. That foam was actually a bulb seal. So it is half moon shaped and hollow in the middle. I bought some on McMaster Carr for a fraction of what Poo dealer charges.
