This is a one of a kind custom built sled from the bulkhead up, it is as reliable as a stock sled. It uses proven stock parts and is a combination of the best of what Polaris offers in both the IQR and RAW chassis. The strength and riding position is superior to the RAW chassis, the handling is very similar to a dragon but with rider position a little more forward.
I have been building the IQR into Mountain conversions since the spring of 05. I believe I was the first to do a complete tunnel swap with two test sleds on the snow that year, I have built a total of 14 different combinations of the these sleds and tested most of the combinations emaginable, my focus is to build lightweight, nimble sleds. This particular sled weighs under 450lbs it would be quit easy to get under 440lbs.
The price reflects the cost of a new create sled with new parts, the labor charge is kept very low even though it is very time consuming to build one of these sleds from the ground up.

Hi Clay, this is the new 08 stock 600 motor it incorperates an 800 bottom end and still has stock 600 cylinders, the motor has yet to be started, I did testing and set-up this spring with a stock race sled, the new 600 is very strong and will out pull a 700 dragon.
 
This is more than a very nice sled! Winter is a perfectionist! His sled will out handle,out perform, anything on the snow day in day out! They are the easiest to ride back country sleds, period!Consider this, buy a new 700 or 800 class sled.Change this,add that,soon you have got as much or more than what he wants for his! Plus a shop full of parts that you will be lucky to get rid of!!!!! I know some of you will disagree, after all it is only a 600. A new 600 race motor with an 800 bottom end. A motor that is perhaps the most technically advanced out there! And if it were not for the EPA it would be in a consumer sled!!!!!!

I agree Springer / very nice sleds. I drool every time I see Winter's posts. If I keep picking up pennies and nickles from the ground I hope to be able to afford one by the end of next week. Optimism is a great thing.

I have not seen any official numbers, but in the stock chassis it smokes a 700dragon.

It is a pure pump gas motor!!!

I started it a couple days ago for the first time and it's quiet and sounds fantastic.
 
What kind of big bore potential is there with the 800 bottom end and the 600 jugs? I really want one of these sleds now that my turbo project is complete.

Just make sure you find one set up for the type of riding you do, if you don't you will just want to get rid of it, if it is right you won't want to ride anything else.
BOC make an 800 kit for $1500-1800
Carls make an 800 and 860 kit Chris has prices.
There are a couple others out there as well, these two are the two I know of in the west.
