needle position?

I had a local mechanic work on my sled last year and now nowhere to be found so im just wondering if anyone knows the stock needle position on the o7 rev 800r . I currently have it set at the second ring from the bottom with a little plastic shim of where the needle rests. oh and i dont know if it makes any difference but im sea level to 3000 ft. thanks in advance .

Hey Bonebreaker stock position for the 07 is the middle. There should be 5 slots. If u have it second from the bttm and shimed u will be probably way to rich. Most guys shim off the middle but out of the box factory is in the middle with no shims. Hope that helps partner. Kevin

The plastic shim is a stock spacer. Don't remove it or you will run .... well, burn down.

I think the difference between clips are 0.04". So shims should be .01, .02 etc. That plastic spacer is around .08"

You run at sea level or darn near, so the stock clip at 3 may be too lean.
