need wiring help

went to start the 04 900efi and no go, upon futher inspection i get no fuel. i pulled off the fuel line to the fuel rail and put some juice down the plug holes and bammmm lit off till fuel was burnt, watched the fuel line and not a drop. i know fuel pump could be bad but what about those smart valves things,and my stator, i know theres two coils on the stator just for the fuel pump, witch wires would i test to see if the stator in makin 12v. and if the stator is fine how would i test the smart valves, i know how to test the pump but what fuel pressre should i have. any info would be great

Find the wiring plug that goes into the tank and put 12v DC to it and see if the pump will work if so either the charge coil in the stator or ecu. Will find my book today and give you some ohm values to check the stator.

lord i appologize for the biggest brain fart ever. i guess if i know how to test the pump then the wires that go to the pump must be the one. sorry snowest for makin a dumb world even dumber. thanx for the reply. ohms would be great any idea on how to test the smart valves

Hook couple wires to the pump plug and put some power to it. If it pumps fuel you r stator probably is gone. Take a 9V battery and hook up backwards to blow the smart valves open, then rev erse the wires and see what happens.

i dont run a tail light can i use the power wire from there if my stator is bad tu run my fuel pump. the lights and everything still work so just the fuel pump coils on the stator must not be workin.

No because your lites are ac and you need dc for your pump.

o ya 1 more brain fart to chock up, but i got good news pulled the pump and hooked to a battery and a loud buzz is all it had, put a test light on the stator wires gave it a yank and whala. allready got 1 lined up thanx snowest
