lost the engine on 05 vector would like to fine a replacement. looks like i was alittle late on the one that t-boned the tree

got a brand new 05 vector mountain w/ about 2500 miles??? bent left spindle and left front belly pan broken other wise in great shape

I think i just blew mine up too. Turns out the thing dumped all its oil and was leaking coolant. I didn't know it was doing this though. It started to run very rough and then it just locked up and wouldn't turn over. Not sure the exact problem. Is this a similar situation you had? If so what are you doing about it. I know its not going to be cheap.

Actually if you haven't put a rod through the case,it's not too expensive,the crank is only about 900 bucks, rods are cheap at about 100 bucks each and the bearing shell are 5 bucks each,chances are you haven't damaged a piston. But now is the time to upgrade the components, if you want. These prices are CDN.
Well i found out what happened. Oil hose came off the air filter and drained all the oil. Took it to the shop today.
priest lake rmk had one for sale.........I dunno if he still does.
