Heater

First of all you will need to have power to run the fan in the unit, we use dry cell batteries and 300W solar panel and can run "forever" sometimes plug in at night to 110v to recharge if cold and heater runs all the time

Have noted that insulating the floor with spray poly foam makes a huge difference as well, insualting the walls and roof are easy to do but takes time using 1" styrofoam.
Insulated can run three times longer on same propane

Dont forget to allow for drainage off of the floor from all the snow melting, ie holes in floor, PS we spary lined the floor and up walls 6" to seal the joint

I have the garage wall hang type vent free radiant heater in my trailer, I've used it at up to 8600ft , not sure at 10,000ft, I have the walls and ceiling insulated, and it will roast you out of there. Trailer is 8'x26'x7' requires no power, has O2 sensor

I donot want it to use electricity because I am going hunting with the trailer and donnot want a gen set or batterys to worry about I know guys that are doing it but at 1200ft the 10,000 feet is what I am worried about. Empire heaters are what my friends are using but I think that they will only work up to 4,000ft I need it vented because I plan to sleep in it and donnot want to risk death:face-icon-small-hap so if anyone has run a empire or other brand vented heater at multiple elevations chime in
thanks Ryan
