I guess it's time to give it up, I'm just too old to get it anymore. I just had a mpem box go out on a sled that has less than 1500 mi, $575 gone, first time I've had to tow a sled in 20 years. That same day as I was towing in my wifes sled I saw 2 new XP's and a new Cat on the end of towropes. Is it just me or are all of the manufacturers sacrificing durability and reliability just to see who can climb the highest or jump the furthest ? It's a good thing these new sleds are so light they will be much easier to tow in when they die on you or break in half. I guess its alright for those people who can afford to trade every year and always have a warranty under them but the rest of us are just stuck with a sled that is not dependable or durable. I have been reading about all of the problems everybody is having in these forums and I wonder where it is all going to end up, it sounds like some of these people spend more time at the dealership than they do riding. Here in South Dakota the riding season is getting so short that if you miss 1 or 2 weekends because of breakdowns you have missed half of the season. Maybe I need to break out the old 98 Summit that sits in the garage, at least I could depend on it to get me home. Sorry I am so old, grouchy and set in my ways but there is something to be said for simplicity (it seldom fails and if it does you can fix it yourself !!!). onlyrotax
