need some riser help

so today i bought a 4 inch riser for my 97 super sport, previously i had a 3 inch which fit fine, it went on fine and all but when i turned to the right it pulled alot, it made the cable tight enough to play a song on, and what im thinking is i need a longer cable. i measured my cable to be about 25 inches long, give or take 2 or 3 inches. so i went online to denniskirk.com and i found 2 possible solutions,
1. a powermadd throttle cable extension (which extends 10 inches) (28.99)
2. a parts unlimited custom fit throttle cable which i am not sure how long it is (22.95)
so i was wondering which one would be my best solution, any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

I would go with option number 2 and not just because it's cheaper.

You maybe able to simply reroute the cable that you have. The stock routing is not always the most efficient. Good luck

I have the powermadd on my XLT and it works just fine. I know guys that dont like them but I have never had a problem once. A few small black zip ties and it looks and works great. I have a 8" MMP billet riser and i would not go another route. and if you are gonna get a throttle extension kit go and save yourself the trouble down the road and get an extended braded brake line.
