Need some input

So I'm looking to buy a new sled. I used to be heavy into riding but got too busy for about 10 years. I'm looking for some information on what kind of polaris to get. My main intention will be for ditch riding. I don't go into the mountains yet but would like to eventually. I really like the rmk's. The issue I have with them is that It's hard to find any without 2.5+ lug lengths and been looking at 144s or 153s. Now there are the assaults which I like aswell but don't really know the differences between them and the rmks but the lug lengths are way shorter it seems. What would the ideal lug length be for my intended use and track length? Also any sled recommendations?

I see your from MN, I'm in the Rapid City SD area and see alot of MN riders come this way. Idealy I think a Switchback would be the sled for you. Even around the Black Hills that would be the perfect sled to get trail use and off trail use. If your thinking about 1-2 Trips a year to the Snowies or Big Horns etc. Either rent one or grab a cheap Pro Ride RMK155-163 800. Markets in the tank right now for sellers of both used and new and perfect time if you want to grab 1 or two sleds on the cheap. Story is going to change if we get clobbered with snow though.
