Go to the north end. There are a few places you could stay at. One is called Bearlodge Resort(307-752-2444) and the other is Arrowhead Lodge. I cant remember the names of the others. I prefer Bearlodge but any one of them will do. Just head up the closed hiway 14A and have fun.

Also the Passage

The Passage Resort is a great place to stay as well. They are a mile or 2 from bear lodge and have great rates, food and cheap beer. 877-751-7599

Bear Lodge 307-752-2444
Arrowhead 307-655-2388
The Passage 877-751-7599 or 307-751-7599
The passage and Bear are up on the flats and arrowhead is just before you get to the top.The trail splits and goes three ways right at the junction of 14 & 14A All the lodges have fuel and sled rentals. I don't like the noise at Bear so I usually stay at the passage. Bear does have both indoor and out door hut tubs and an indoor pool.

what to ride

is it beter to rent out there or to take our own we have 05 900 rmk 159,
02 sx viper with a 129x2x15 and a 98 rmk700 with a 136

We take a trip to Bear Lodge every March and go with there guide service. We know all the areas they take us to now, so its just for tradition.

If money is no issue, For the first trip I would rent and use there guide service the first day. You will see alot of good play areas to go to the rest of the trip.

Depending on how you like to ride, your sleds might work just fine. Theres not alot of trail riding to do there. You could cover them all in one good days riding.
