Need some info on a track

I found a 144" track but can't find any info on it. It has a part # of 679-9882. The person says it was a OEM Yamaha track and it is a Challenger. Does anyone know if it is the same or similar as a 9875 Challenger.

I have the same track. It says Camoplast Challenger 679-9882 but it is not in any of the current camoplast literature. It also has the numbers 0300-4024.

OE Yamaha sounds plausible since I received it as an extra track when I bought my Mountain Max. Anyone have additional ideas?

If its a 144 with 2'' paddles(2.52 pitch) I would bet it came from a Mountain Viper. Do some searching on the Mountain Viper tracks and I bet you find what you are looking for....I wana say that the tracks were not fully clipped-every window open, but not 100% on that.

I know that the Mountain Max's which were a 141 with 2'' paddles (2.52 pitch) used a Yokohama track, they did change the track in 2002(stayed with a Yokohama 141) because of some cracking at the base of the paddles on the earlier year tracks.

track compatibility?

I am considering buying a Camoplast 679-9882 track. The seller says it is 144"x15"x2". The pitch is 2.52.
From what I gather from this thread it might have been made for a Yamaha machine.
Will a track designed for a Yamaha fit on a Polaris if the size is correct, and the pitch is the same?

found my answer

I called Camoplast this week to ask my questions about this track.
I was told it was a Camoplast Challenger after market track.
It is 144" x 15" x2" lugs, with a 2.52 pitch.
I hope it fits my sled well when it arrives.

at the end of the day , does it matter who made the track , if you want a 144 then put er on , . if your still at the 144 stage it dont matter!!!
