Another will it fit post or maybe what is needed to make it fit?

A friend has a totalled out 2014 Indy 600 Polaris and would like to rebuild it and put a 144" skid underneath it. The tunnel extension is simple but what is needed to put maybe a IQ 144 or Pro Ride 144 skid under this sled?

Gearing, clutching. Skid extension will use existing drop brackets. There are aftermarket kits out there to extend the Indy, it's pretty easy to do without fab. Lots of tunnel clearance, no need to D&R, swap drivers (depending on track), FWIW, the stock boards will really $uck in the pow, from what I've seen. Track, tunnel and skid extension, drivers up to track selection, gearing change, clutching (it has the P2, not team).

Thanks for the responses. Not looking to do rail extensions though. Would really like to bolt in a 144 skid out of say an IQ Switchback. Also not worried about perfect gearing right off the bat. We can get that end covered easy enough. Really just looking for some help on what we need to do to put that skid under a 121. Rail extensions for sure I know that. I also understand that we will need some sort of drop bracket. Main question being what is needed to get it bolted in? Where do I get the measurements and so on?

Would u be better off to check center to center skid bolts on a switchback assult 144 and compair to the Indy ur trying to set up and look for better boards too might work out good to put them on I had em on my switchback 900 and helped a ton

I know the IQ 136" switchback rails will bolt right up. Not sure about the 144", drop brackets are probably back further. I did a 136" X 1.5" intense track. Great all around track.image.jpg

Also did u call ice age ? They might make just new rails to fit it and keep all the stock locations on tunnel also I do think if can fit get 2" challenger track if planning on boondocking and take of grippers for it helps a lot
