Need Some Help With Z Bros A Arm Kit.

Buddy just purchased a used 2012 Pro which the owner had put on a Z Bros a arm kit. During the field test everthing was good steering was no problem. When we got it home we put it up on the sled lift and noticed you could barely turn the handlebars. The studs that hold down the upper rod end are actually touching the inner race of the rod end when the suspension sits unsprung. Has anyone ran into this problem. Because i can see this being a very unsafe situation especially in the hills where the front end is off the snow on occasion.
Thanks.

Is this a 36" kit? I believe it is, and that would require shorter shocks than stock on a 2012 I do believe

It looks like your upper arms are installed upside down. The little weld dot that is next to wheee the upper ball joint goes through should be on the bottom side of the arm instead of thw top side.

Its not the 36"kit because the sway bar is still installed.

I think your top arms are on backwards switch sides. That doesn't look like a 36" kit the spindles have not been trimmed.

Yup upper a arms are on the wrong sides. Once you switch them around they will be fine.

My best guess is upside down and wrong side. Then the geometery should be correct with no binding. You didn't post a side shot pic so I'm only guessing at the caster angle and what would be best. If it is close to the correct caster now then you need to swap side and flip them to maintain the caster angle.

you are correct. They are both on upside down and on the wrong side. The weld dot should be on the bottom side of the right upper a arm.
