need some help deciding

I have been having some problems deciding if i should get a 2009 M-1000 at the price of 9500.00 or get an 08 snow pro m-1000 and pay 7795.00 plus you have to buy 500.00 in accesories. I can even get a 08 M-1000 in the regular of 7195.00 plus have to spend the 500.00 in accesories. Can anyone give me some advice on what i should do.

Get a 09 no matter what, it would take more than 2k to make a 08 even close to a 09. You can find 09 m1000 std for under $9000 all over.

Just how big a boy are you?

Last winter I too was focused on buying a M1000. That is, until I rode a M8 Sno Pro 153" and a M1000 162" Sno Pro (both with full SLP packages) back to back. Now, maybe I would have liked it better if the M1000 would have been a 153" as well? I bought a M8.

If you are over 220 lbs maybe a M1000 would be a better choice for you? If you ride routinely over 8,000 feet, than maybe a M1000 would be best for you? But, if you are under 200 lbs and ride below 8,000 feet then you owe to yourself to ride both before buying anything.

Like WyoBoy1000 said, buy an 09. The changes are worth the extra $

There were tons of M1000s left over last spring.

Where are you located? We'll help you find one.

Good Luck

I reccomend the Sno Pro. If I were you I would get an 09. I bought an 08 M100 Sno Pro leftover in the fall of 08. I'm only 160 lbs and 6' 2". I love the torque of my 1000.

As far as the sno pro features, the floats are worth every penny IMO.

at your size, definitely go for the 1000....as others have said the 09 is a better sled....with a couple of minor clutching changes, you'll have a very good sled....the sno-pro is better from the standpoint that you can adjust the shocks with just air pressure....important if you're over 200 lbs...and it has adjustable handle bars stock...:)

Those prices look familiar. I battled this last spring. I decided on the 08 standard, then had them put a power claw and all the other do dads on it to make it real close to an 09 other than the reverse and the rear bumper. To me, bang for the buck is key...

Its still not a 09 though,

I go with the std. never liked the floats up front. and the money you save you can put into revalving the rear shocks and make it ride better than a SP. Most everyone I know never adjusts there bars either so, I vot save your money and put it toward real mods.
