have a 2013 rmk pro 163. boondock and tree playing not much of a climber. like the technical stuff.
she is stock with the exception of a can.
my question is I want to go to some more power what to go with?
slp stage 3? or bikeman stage1?
both say about same hp and I all ready have a can so I wouldn't have an extra laying around if I go with bikeman?
thoughts sugestions anyone run these on their sleds?

I have had a 290 hp Yamaha and a 2012 rmk pro turbo before and I know I don't want any f ing around I like the pull and go no tuning no bull. I also am not afraid to run a little av gas or race if I have to. ride at 3000-9000 ft

Depending on how much power you want, RKT Drop In was a big hit for me. I was very please with the gains over stock and compared to other "kits".

I ran a SLP Pipe and Can with PCV, but both Kelsey and Vohk suggest using the stock pipe with Super-Q can stacked with Boondocker box.

I was easily beating SLP Stage 3 kits and even 4's.

$.0.02

I'm going some sort of Rkt too, I think Slp makes good stuff also but it sounds like it's hard to beat the bang for the buck the Rkt drop in gives.

Awesome guys I am looking into rktech drop in or big bore 858 same price as slp stage 3 and the drop in seems best deal thou

Where are you getting a 3" with drivers for cheaper than the drop in kit that people are recommending?

there was a 3" camo extreme on ksl with 200 miles on it in perfect condition that sold for 500 bucks. I guess i'm just one of those skeptical guys who thinks the drop in kits are a waste. I've had three pros (11, 12, 13) and not once had any issues with any of them. 3000 miles in all and just ran polaris oil, 91 octane and rode the hell out of them. different strokes for different folks, i guess. I'd rather make the existing power more usable rather than start to modify the engine and hope to squeeze a couple extra hp. Plus, when the season is done, take the track off, sell it and put your stocker back on for the sale of the sled. I guess at the end of the day, i'm cheap and do mods that i can get most of my money back out of it. Plus, whatever i ride always is under warranty so i'm not scared of the motors like everyone else is.

I gotchya, but by and large the 3" is not a cheap mod as most will have to buy it new along with drivers I believe (and a chaincase mod depending on year). That was my only point, not here to argue the use of drop in kits etc.

update on my quest for a little more power is...
I am most likely going with rk drop in kit.
but at this moment Kelsey and I are in a life changing game of phone tag.
so until I catch that busy bugger I am still undecided. but rk looks like the best power for money and no fuel controller to di&k with.
I like the fact that kelseys pistons are lighter as well.

A friend of ours put this in his 09 800 Dragon RMK. Ran smoother and had more power than my 2011 Pro. That's all I know about it.
This Kelsey dude gets a lot of positive feed back on this forum. If it were me I would definitely contact him.:face-icon-small-coo
If you have a warranty the upgrade will void it.:face-icon-small-con
We are boring stock people ourselves.
