Need some advice!

took my sled up today and noticed everytime i pushed the throttle, it would backfire constantly...and for the record i took it up friday too and rolled it twice but i dont think that could be the reason why it keeps back firing..i cant hill clmb at all unless i get a running start. and what i mean by that is i have to slowing make a gradual increase on my throttle trigger. but like i said if i just slam on it, it wont go anywhere. itl just pop!! and maybe start to go. i cant figure out whats wrong with it and i dont want to take it in to i-90. but if i have to. i will. any ideas??!!

Clean your carbs, check to make sure you don't have a leaking float in the carb. Back firing is unburned fuel getting through the motor then burning off in the pipe. Like said above, check your reeds as they do wear out over time. Also Revs are known for the spark plug wires to wear out, especially the metal part that goes over the plug will break off.

The airbox is probably the hardest part to get on and off, everything else should be pretty easy. Get some aftermarket reeds, such as boyseen or V-force 3's that way you don't have to worry about the stock reed boots de-laminating and burning down your sled. Also it might help to have friend or somebody that knows carbs for your first time taking them apart and cleaning them. Carb cleaner or brake-clean should be fine. It'll be good for you to learn how to do this yourself and save you money from taking it to a shop.
