Need a repair estimate from a Polaris dealer or legit snowmobile repair shop for a snowmobile by 23 July 2012.

I'd tow the sled from Los Angeles and like to do the estimate on the same day.

Please let me know ASAP Thank You !

I second the call to Bill. He will set you up. He has been in the industry for a long time.

Sent from my Commando

I will give them a call but it is a good 7 hour drive from my home.

Was thinking if there was a polaris dealer at Shaver lake or Huntington.

I know there is a shop in Fresno .... but need 2 estimates.

Clawson in Fresno, Rancheria at Huntington Lake, or isnt there a place in Bakersfield?

I have appointments for Clawson and Bakersfiekd but thank goodness the Polaris gurus in Citrus Heights and anotherr nearby shop came threw so I could meet Ebay's estimate deadline policy.

Now Ebay insurance is gonna call them and tell the shops and discuss the estimates.

Yeah Bill at Citrus Heights is great!!! I just thought you wanted something further south. Glad it worked out.

I did want something more south but needed quotes this week because of Ebay policy and time I have to go drive and get the quote.

Thank you for helping.

i dont want to be a downer on this whole thing, but by the time you get these estimates and pay gas to haul the sled around, take your personal time to do so, (maybe have to take off work?), play around with ebay, over $3,500 you might even be more behind even if you get your money back.

Too late.

Too late.

ditto

But for a grand "more" at least I and others will know where and what not to do when buying a sled.

Plus now I know what sled dealer will help me out when I need it.

This is a learning experience for my family and they learned from this exchange.

So not including my time I am into this sled for $4700 ... and it needs work to make it minimally rideable IMHO ...

and Ebay just informed me I must have the sled titled (if they buy it back) which means title fees, taxes, and OSV fees.

Knowing which dealers are willing to help is always a good thing. We just lost one in Truckee CA. that was well know for helping people out in this area. The lousy taste this whole experience has left in your mouth over buying this sled I feel sorry for the next guy who tries to sell you a sled even if the guy is completely honest and up front. This is the reason it is so tough to trust anyone selling anything anymore. Unfortunately people get the raw end of the deal once in awhile even if you do your due diligence up front. Good to hear that things are slowly working themselves out for you.
