My buddy and I are looking to get our 03 800 escape engines rebuilt. We want to get the best and most for our buck. Does any one recomend a shop to get the case, crank bearings and upper end rebuilt in one place. We don't want to send the case to one shop and send the crank to another and upper half to yet another. If any of you know of a great one stop shop, any info would be greatly appreciated! Since your cylinders need rebuilt that will have to be sent out or buy exchange cylinders. I can get your cylinders redone for 165/330, you will need 2 new pistons polaris 130/260 , case line bore about 250 with frt, you will need new oring,seals, and base gasketts,2 spark plugs. crank will very greatly 500 /1000 your clutch is probably shot so 425 for a new polaris clutch Your not going to want to skimp on part of it or you might ruin the rest in short order.Oh and add a labor charge in there and some more frt.Thats reality. And just because there is a warrnty on items does not mean they will not fail.
