need price on 06 800ho motor

i am looking for some prices for a 06 800ho short block.i thing i am getting ripped at my local dealer i just bought 06 800 summit & second ride crank bearings siezed up, anybody with info. would be great thanks

Just incase you don't know this, Skidoo has/had an exchange program for engines. They exchange rebuilt engines for whats remaining of yours. It's quite a bit cheaper than buying brand new parts. I believe you can exchange with or without cylinders. Check with your dealer or find another dealer and ask about it. Sorry I'm not sure of the price but, maybe this info can help you.

i just replaced the motor in my 06 x, mag side crank bearings absolutely anialated themselves at 2100 kms. Complete dropin less head was 1900 cad.

cb that is the same thing that happened to mine mag side bearings with 736 miles on it. does anybody know if there is a problem with mag side bearings. thanks everybody for your replies

skidoo dealer told me that was the only mag side bearing he had ever seen fail? usually pto side is the culprit.
