Need pics of headlight delete

Does anyone have a picture of the inside of the hood with a headlight delete installed? Attempting to make my own right now, and I'd like to see how any of the aftermarket kits are secured. Thanks!

I'm building some thing of the sort. I'm using the windshield push plugs along the top. Mines aluminum so I also have added threaded bosses where the headlight bolts in. I am also going to add some tabs off of the bottom in which I will need to drill two holes right in front of the headlight hole for a couple rivets.

I will try tomorrow I'm at work till six. Its not finished yet km still deciding how to go about it myself.
Mine is hopefully going to have an air box intake plumbed into one side and a Nissan fog light in the other.
Not sure how I'm going to do it yet but I think the doo xps had that diaper looking filter on the 09-10 and if I remember right its about the same size and shape as the missing headlight. If not I might just homake so thin
That fog light has about the same angle to it as the stock one I hope it turns out allright

I still haven't tacked the pieces together but it will look the same anyhow. The piece sitting in the middle will be tacked between the panels to make them a bit more rigid

Thanks josh. I'm envisioning something very similar, except just as an outer frame, with black mesh inside across the opening. It's hard to tell from this pic, but do you think what you have could be bent up from one solid piece of aluminum sheet? Or do the angles require multiple pieces tacked together? I have access to a CNC metal brake, so i can bend some pretty interesting stuff.

I messed with doing one, decided to just buy one for $50, easier. Put the headlights back in for this year I have a skinz one I will sell you for $35 shipped.

I'm not a fan of the Skinz version, but that's just me. I want a mesh style one that will allow LED's to shine through from behind. Thanks for the offer though!

There's lot's of options out there, but I honestly love building my own parts.

The center of the light area is kind of not flush with the rest of the headlight opening. If you bend one piece you will probably have a gap there you can see from the outside. But probably only notice it if you point at it.
I was thinking the same thing out of one piece but I am going to be welding on it anyway so I fit it a little better

Hmm, thats kind of what I thought. I'm getting tempted to bust out the fiberglass and make a mold of the stock headlight.....I'm probably waaaay over-doing this, haha.
