need input 06 900 pistons

right on good to no, stock flash is going back in stock pipe is going back on n im ordering a mbrp can just because i like the sound, and ill bet 10 to 1 ill get my mid n top end back up to snuff too

:eyebrows: got up this morning ground was white kids came home from school got the 02 340 indy going for them of course i had to take it for a worm up run cant wait to get my 9 back n test her out

I lost 5 to 10 mph off the top end and mid and low was flat when using the SLP can. So even just using the MBRP can with our without the SLP pipe should help the sled out.

Here's my procedure:
As soon as we pull into the staging area, I start my sled on the trailer and let it run til I get 130 temp. Then I will unload the sled, shut it off, and let it sit for probably 15 mins while I get geared up. Then I start the sled up and let it warm up to 130 again. At this point I warm the belt and track up with a buddies help or on a track stand. Now I am ready to ride.

Some people are even more meticulous than me with their procedure, many others are less cautious. I am just sharing my methods.
Good idea. I always let my sled warm up before I ride but have never let it cool down and then warm back up. I am definitely going to start doing this. Thanks

This isn't really a warm up thread, but just for the heck of it...

I don't even move my sled off the trailer/sled deck until it hits 126... let it sit for a few minutes while getting ready, then warm up again to 126 before even leaving the parking lot, then go easy for the first 5 miles... no full throttle whatsoever, varied and slowly increasing from short bursts. I won't hog on it really hard till we've got about 7-8 miles on it at least.

Also don't forget that when taking breaks - lunch for example - that you need to re-warm up your engine after it has had a chance to cool.

A couple extra minutes is cheap compared to sticking a piston:clock:
