Need Information on 2009 summit hillclimb edition

Looking for any input on the hillclimb edition. Also is the ski stance 47.1 or 40-42.5 in? Sled seems to be the same as the summit 154 x package? Sharp looking sled.

Supposed to be the front end of the RS snocross sled
They were supposed to put in a team secondary but don't think that will happen(darn)
Should be different clutch and gearing calibration but will have to wait and see
This is what the rep has told me when they called me to buy one.
Wide ski stabce is the only thing I wish was different
This sled was made for Hillcross and to comply with new rules
Only 500 made but they still have some to sell
Oredered mine in April or March (I forget I guess its been a while)

The ski stance is ONLY 1" wider on each side VS a summit...the 47" is outside/outside....BJ

Hill climb special? I don't understand how wider skis make it a Hill Climb Special. I was disiapointed that they didn't ad a longer track. Where I ride the longer the track the better, Maybe there is a difference between Hill Climb and Mountain Climb

thats were your confused, the factory hillclimb sleds are for competative climbing, its not a big open hill with deep pow, its a whooped out packed snow and ice hill, prolly with some rocks and dirt coming through. so usually just a stiffer track, and clutching gearing, and a wider front end. other than that the hilldlclimb idea is more of a sales pitch, they are kinda impractical for mountain riding, or at least thats how i see it.

Like Ski-Dooit said hill climb is another product from Brp to make you feel better with same sled:eek: wich has cool stickers and thats it:rolleyes: I dont think you will tell the diference between two I know one thing for sure with wide ski stance it is going to hard to do sidehilling.

The only reason you see this sled listed is because they haven't sold all 500. Other than that they are built for hillcross racing. Because of new rules last year they have to come from factory stock to race in that class , no aftermarket parts. As for mountain riding you guys all run stock right! Don't think so, so why bash something that hasn't even had its chance yet. Oh yes I forgot "keyboard riders"
