need help with xp

Have done many and their tricky but easy once you do it. Careful not to break the aluminum collar inside the tunnel on the brake side. The hang up is usually the collar. Get the track weight off the shaft and reach in and spin the collar counter clockwise about 1/2 inch then pull away from tunnel toward driver. Four torx head bolts are holding the brake/bearing housing to the collar through the tunnel. Remove bolts first.

I went through the samething Saterday It's not cool that you have to beat it apart. Then beat it back together.
There's got to be a better way.

What are you beating apart? I assume and hope you mean the bearing housing on the break side. You shouldn't have to beat it apart. Like I said before it's different at first but I actually like the design now. Takes about half hour to drop a shaft start to finish.
If you have trouble with the snap rings when reinstalling just use a rachet strap to squeeze the tunnel together.

Had no problems getting the brake apart or with the aluminm collar. Its getting the shaft out of the bearing on the brake side then back in.
