have all the measurements but was just wondering.....i have a round bar slid thru both spindles right now so they are neutral....slide bar out of one spindle and then adjust that spindle so the measurement is achieved from the top of the bar to top of spindle hole. So you are setting that spindle in a positive camber?????(top of spindle canted away from chassis). Should you do half the amount, then when you do the other side you will get the other half of the amount? I'm assuming seeing the spindles go into a negative camber as the suspesion collapes you are setting the sled up with a slightly positive one with no weight on the front end.? Thanks for any walkthru.

You have it mostly right. If you have the height spec, then you adjust (screw upper ball joint inwards) the side with the bar in the spindle. That creates negative camber. The spec applies fully to each side. This is to prevent positive camber during suspension travel. Positive camber helps reduce tire wear on autos but doesn't help on sleds. You can check for yourself by removing the shocks and cycling the ifs thru its travel.

Adjusting Rod

When I did mine I welded a piece of flat iron to the end of the rod with the proper offset to the top of the hole. This makes it much easier than using a tape measure. Just crank it until the flat iron matches the top of hole.

Thanks for the info....I think this is where i'm getting confused.....As the suspension goes from full extension to collaspe doesn't the spindle go into a slightly negative camber? If i set the sled up with no weight on front end with a negative camber doesn't it become worse with the sled weighted? If i adjust the spindle without the rod in it and create a positive camber and put sled back down that positive starts to become neutral and then slight negative as the suspension collapeses?????? or do you not want any positive at any point during travel???? Thanks what it sounds like. Thanks.

Correct, you don't want any positive camber. Negative camber is not a bad thing on a sled.
