hey does any one know if you can put a seat and gas tank off of a 2003 polaris on to an older polaris 1997 if any 1 knows let me know plz

If it has the cooler under the seat with the hoses running on top of the tunnel it can be a pain in the butt, some people have done it and left the hoses there and blocked the seat and gas tank up to allow room but that looks like crap. The best way to do is eliminate that cooler and run a U-Cooler with the lines coming up in front of the gas tank.
I guess the answer is yes you can do it. I've done it to quite a few.
This is actually a 97 SKS. With the newer seat/gas tank combo and full length tunnel cooler.

as jsledder said if you have the lines running under the seat they do look ugly
but if you put a edge tank on the old wedge you will have to cut the counsel a bit and depending on the sled the oil tank needs a bit of work
well worth it though
